What do I need to know about using the name or representation of any person as a trade mark?

Where the name or representation of a person appears on the trade mark, the Registrar may require the applicant to furnish the consent of the person, or in the case of a person recently dead, the consent of the legal representative of the person. If such consent is not furnished, the Registrar may refuse to register the mark.
