On 9 August, the state flag carried by the Chinook will soar around the island.

Two CH-47 Chinook helicopters, each escorted by two AH-64D Apache attack helicopters, will fly the State Flag across Singapore via two routes, from around 5.30pm to 6.30pm:

a. The Western Route will fly along the western areas of Singapore such as Bukit Panjang, Bukit Timah, Kranji, Choa Chu Kang, Jurong and West Coast.

b.The Eastern Route will fly along the eastern areas of Singapore such as Khatib, Paya Lebar, Seng Kang, Punggol, Bedok, Pasir Ris, Changi and East Coast.
