Parking.sg does notify users 10 mins prior to the end of their parking session. This is so that users can extend their sessions if required.
 
However, to receive such notifications, please ensure that you have allowed Push notifications for the Parking.sg app as well as set your phone timing to be on network mode so that the timing is in sync. This can be done via your phone settings.
 
For time synchronisation:
 
For Android:
Please ensure that your Android smartphone is connected to network (either by Mobile Data or WiFi) before you proceed:

  1. Tap on the Settings icon on the main screen.

  2. In the Search bar, type in Date & Time and tap on it
    (Your phone's Settings may differ depending on the manufacturer and Android version)

  3. Find Automatic date & time and tap to disable it. Tap again to re-enable it.

  4. Find Automatic time zone and tap to disable it. Tap again to re-enable it.

  5. Ensure that time zone is set to Singapore, GMT +08:00.

 
For iPhone:
Please ensure that your Android smartphone is connected to network (either by Mobile Data or WiFi) before you proceed:

  1. Ensure that you have the most updated version of the iOS.

  2. Tap on the Settings icon on the main screen. Proceed to General > Date & Time.

  3. Tap on Set Automatically.
    This automatically sets your date and time based on your time zone. If there is an available time zone update, your device will prompt you.

  4. Tap on the Settings icon on the main screen again. Proceed to Privacy > Location Services > System Services and select Setting Time Zone.
    This will allow your device to use its current location to determine the correct time zone.

  5. Check that your device shows the correct time zone in Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.

 
Do fully exit the Parking.sg app if it is open and relaunch it so that the app is now synchronised with the timing.
